DMXMA Policies and Procedures

Introduction

Da Mo Xin Martial Arts (DMXMA) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive training environment for every person who enters our venue — instructors, assistant instructors, guest instructors, volunteers, students, parents, guardians, visitors, and spectators. Our policies exist to make expectations clear, protect the wellbeing of our community, and ensure that classes run smoothly and safely.

These policies also help DMXMA meet our legal and duty‑of‑care obligations as a martial arts school operating in Western Australia. They are written in clear, accessible language so families can understand how we operate, what we expect, and what you can expect from us in return.

By attending a DMXMA class, enrolling a student, or entering the training venue as a visitor, you agree to follow the policies outlined on this page

Scope

These policies apply to:

  • instructors, assistant instructors, guest instructors, and volunteers

  • all enrolled students

  • parents, guardians, and family members

  • visitors, spectators, and guests

  • any person who enters the training venue during DMXMA activities

These policies cover behaviour, safety, communication, privacy, and participation expectations. They work alongside DMXMA’s internal governance policies, which guide staff responsibilities, operational decision‑making, and organisational compliance.
